Saturday 27.4, the last round of the XRS Finland series was run. Unfortunately, there were not enough participants in the 1/12th classes, so we only drove Touring cars + EuroTrucks as an additional class.
There were only two time trials, and I took second place in the first one. The fast increase of the grip in the second heat caused a roll at the beginning and this meant the third starting grid for the finals. The pole position was taken by Xray's Oiva Metsola, who dominated the whole day, and the tightest battle took place for places 2-4. Xray's Ville Ahola started from the second grid and had found a well-functioning setup. Petri Tuomainen, who also drove consistently hard throughout the day, was behind the fourth grid in the finals. There were many battles between us and the rankings changed several times. However, I managed to grab the places 3-2-2-2 and secured the second place in the race behind Oiva. While Ville drove to the third place, Xray got a great triple win in this race.
